Public transport schedules to change as of October 1
Schedules of trolleybus route No. 3 will be changed on workdays and holidays and schedule of trolleybus route No. 22 will be changed on workday to ensure traffic regularity in line with the real situation.
Following residents’ requests, workday schedule of bus route No. 38 will be changed, and that of bus route No. 39 will be also changed, accordingly (the number of runs on both the routes will not change).
As of October winter schedules will be introduced on bus routes No. 2, 3, 19, 24, 29, 30 and 36 on both workdays and holidays. The number of runs on bus route No. 3 will be increased as compared to the previous winter.
It shall be reminded that during the summer season, to ensure comfortable transport to Riga beaches, bus route No. 3 was extended to Vakarbuļļi beach and bus route No. 29 was extended to Vecāķi, and the number of runs on bus route No. 24 on holidays was also increased. When changing the schedule of bus route No. 3, the number of runs on bus route No. 36 was increased and bus No. 30 was also launched on holidays. Given passengers’ demand, these changes were extended by one month, until October 1.
